ABSTRACT
This conceptual analysis of female sexual agency and pleasure examines how social and structural forces restrict and control women’s sexual autonomy. It focuses on issues such as agency and the orgasm gap, concluding with a discussion on reclaiming entitlement, to provide insights into the repression and resistance of female sexualities. While its scope is limited to heterosexual women, it calls for comprehensive sexual education programmes, rejection of damaging labels, and ongoing efforts to ensure reproductive rights and physical autonomy for all individuals. It employs the critical theoretical tool of objectification theory to highlight the portrayal of female sexual behaviour. Additionally, it draws on global movements and symbols to illustrate how contemporary feminists challenge and resist the oppression of female sexualities by promoting body autonomy and sexual liberation.
